Wild. We live in California (active duty USAF), but have Texas residency with the DoD. Mr. Money with Katie just redid his TX vehicle registration for his @Tesla , and we learned Texas now charges an additional *$200 annual fee* for EVs. Seems odd. His registration on his old, gas-guzzling 2008 SUV was $73 per year. This year we paid $273. Seems odd, particularly as it's the polar opposite of the favorable CA policies that incentivize/reward EV ownership.
