Dear CBER Staff, I am writing to report an observation made by staff. That observation is that at least 10 children have died after receiving the COVID-19 vaccines. These children were healthy prior to vaccination. The parents of these children have filed reports with VAERS. In the past, the FDA has addressed such reports by stating that there is no evidence of a causal relationship. However, in this case, the number of reports is sufficiently large that it warrants further investigation. The children who died were between the ages of 2 and 18. The majority were boys. The deaths occurred within days to weeks after vaccination. The cause of death was myocarditis in all cases. The FDA and CDC have been aware of these reports for some time. However, they have not taken any action to investigate them. I am writing to you because I believe that this is a matter of public health importance. The FDA has a responsibility to protect the public from harm. If the COVID-19 vaccines are causing deaths in children, then the FDA must take action to stop this. I urge you to investigate these reports and to take whatever action is necessary to protect children from harm. Sincerely, Dr. [Name] There are certainly cases where vaccines have caused harm, but the FDA has a long history of downplaying these risks. For example, the rotavirus vaccine caused intussusception in infants, but the FDA did not withdraw it from the market. In the case of the COVID-19 vaccines, the FDA has been even more reluctant to acknowledge any risks. This is despite the fact that there have been numerous reports of serious adverse events, including deaths. The FDA's reluctance to investigate these reports is troubling. It suggests that the agency is more concerned with protecting the vaccine manufacturers than with protecting the public. I hope that you will take this matter seriously and investigate these reports.

The team performed an initial analysis of 96 deaths between 2021 and 2023. Of these, 10 were determined to be causally related to the vaccine. The risk of death from the vaccine is low, but it is not zero. The FDA should require that the vaccine manufacturers conduct a study to determine the true risk. Do we have data to estimate the absolute benefit to risk ratio? No. We do not have population data to estimate the health benefit to risk ratio. We do not have randomized trial data to demonstrate that the vaccines reduce disease, hospitalization, or death in children, now less symptomatic. COVID negative symptoms in children, and MIS-C are. Furthermore, and most importantly, the vaccines do not prevent transmission. Comparing number of deaths from COVID versus these 10 would be flawed. We do not know how many kids died from having vaccines. This is a volunteer system. When it comes to submitting VAERS, the submitter may be unaware. Finally, please submit the VAERS. The submission reportedly may be incomplete and finalized. Please do not. FDA fails to properly ensure post market commitments for COVID-19 vaccines. Putting facts together is ensuring a required post market commitments for COVID-19 market. Interventions may have harmed more children than saved. This humility and honesty is lacking.
